UX Researcher

Our client, a leading Management Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced UX Researcher to support a large-scale digital banking transformation initiative. This role will focus on conducting bilingual qualitative research to improve customer-facing mobile experiences. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and have hands-on experience leading research initiatives from planning and execution through synthesis, storytelling, and stakeholder presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative research efforts from planning through insights delivery.
• Design, execute, and analyze surveys and lightweight quantitative studies.
• Align research strategies with product priorities and agile sprint cycles.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to embed user insights into product decisions.
• Facilitate workshops for ideation, prioritization, validation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct beta testing with internal users to evaluate product releases and business value.
• Advocate for research-driven design through compelling storytelling and insight synthesis.
• Mentor team members and promote UX research best practices.
• Define research objectives, participant criteria, and success metrics.
• Develop screeners, discussion guides, usability testing plans, and test scripts.
• Conduct bilingual interviews with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and strategic insights.
• Present research outcomes to leadership, product, and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research frameworks, repositories, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of UX Research or Qualitative Research experience.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Experience conducting research within Financial Services, Banking, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple product squads and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently within agile and distributed teams.
• Passion for translating user insights into impactful product and design decisions.
