Role - Data Governance Lead
Location - Minneapolis, MN(Remote but preferred)


Job Details:

Here are the key responsibilities for this role:
- Collaborate with data domain owners to identify, document, and prioritize key initiatives in the data governance backlog.
- Work closely with architects, domain owners, and other stakeholders to align on data governance practices.
- Ensure successful implementation of data governance initiatives by coordinating with delivery teams.
- Define, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Lead and facilitate data governance forums and working groups.
- Conduct hands-on data analysis and produce comprehensive documentation.
- Document and publish success stories and case studies to promote data governance achievements.
- Act as a product owner for data governance tools and platforms, managing requirements and roadmaps.



In terms of qualifications, we're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience working with data domain owners, architects, and technical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in leading forums and publishing success stories.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.



The expected deliverables for this role include:
- Documented data governance methodology and models.
- Prioritized backlog of data governance initiatives.
- Resolution plans for identified data issues.
- Implementation tracking reports and status updates.
- Published success stories and case studies.
- Meeting minutes and action items from governance forums.
